Sonja Andersen was recommended to us from a friend as an excellent mortgage broker to contact. We had 3 yrs left on our existing mortgage and she said she would run some numbers for us with the idea of refinancing. Following the plan she laid, we were astounded to learn how much money we could save. So we paid the 3 yr penalty with our Credit Union, she negotiated a new mortgage for us at a lower interest rate with a new lender and now with a new 5 yr term we will literally save thousands of dollars over the first 3 yrs alone! Sonja was recommended to me by a friend as someone who could help me get a house when my own bank wouldn't come to the table with enough. This was my first home purchase and I therefore knew very little about the process and required A LOT of hand holding. From the first email I sent to Sonja she was in constant contact with me. Over the three months or so that it took me to find a house Sonja was on top of everything. She always responded to my emails or texts promptly, even if it was at odd hours and I was needing an answer ASAP. In a very competitive market, with limited funds to play with and during a global pandemic, Sonja was with me as I scrambled on multiple complicated opportunities until I finally secured an amazing house that far surpassed what I thought I could get. I'm a single mom on a non-profit organization income and I know next to nothing about real estate. I never would have ended up in the gorgeous and affordable house that I did if it wasn't for Sonja. I wouldn't have felt as informed about the process without her and I wouldn't have had the funds to get the house my daughter and I needed without her. From start to finish Sonja gave me more than my fair share of her time and worked tirelessly to make sure I ended up with a great house.
