I am the underwriter of a lender partner. Dale reached out to me on a file for one of her client's where there was an issue with the appraisal for the property. She recognized that there was a possibility the existing lender would not proceed and was already working on finding alternative solutions for her client. I was provided the appraisal and details of the file ahead of time before the file was submitted and advised it would be a very tight timeline. The ability for a lender to turn around files on such tight timelines almost always comes down to the document fulfillment process. We were able to consider the property and Dale submitted the file and full document package shortly after reaching out to me, once it was confirmed the original lender would not finance the property. Within 24 hours of the submission we had a file complete, met a very tight financing condition deadline and Dale's client was all set and ready to wait for the closing date. In my many years underwriting mortgages, I have never seen a file that had such a smooth fulfillment process given the pressure we were under to turn around an approval. It speaks volumes to Dale's professionalism, knowledge, and efficiency that even under tremendous pressure she was able to get the job done.
