 County of Lambton – Homeownership Down Payment Assistance

• Assistance: 10% of the purchase price as a 20-year forgivable loan (secured on title).

• Home Price Cap: $325,000.

• Eligibility:

  • Must be a renter (not living with relatives).

  • Household income and assets must meet specified criteria.

  • Must qualify for a mortgage.

 District Municipality of Muskoka – Gateway Homeownership Program

• Assistance: Up to 10% of the purchase price (maximum $70,000) as a forgivable loan.

• Home Price Cap: $726,600.

• Eligibility:

  • First-time homebuyers with household income ≤ $112,400.

  • Household assets ≤ $75,000.

  • Must be a renter and qualify for a mortgage.

 Lanark County – Homeownership Down Payment Assistance

• Assistance: Up to 8% of the purchase price.

• Home Price Cap: $468,243 (subject to provincial review).

  • First-time homebuyers with household income < $104,000.

 Oxford County – Home Ownership Program

• Assistance: Up to 5% of the purchase price as a 20-year interest-free loan.

• Home Price Cap: $425,000.

• Eligibility:

  • Household income < $117,000.

  • Assets < $40,000.

  • Must be a renter in Oxford County and qualify for a mortgage.

 City of Brantford / County of Brant – B-Home Program

• Assistance: 5% of the purchase price (maximum $20,000) as a 20-year forgivable loan.

• Home Price Cap: $400,000.

• Eligibility:

  • First-time homebuyers with household income < $90,600.

  • Assets < $30,000.

  • Must be a renter in Brantford or Brant County and qualify for a mortgage.

• Assistance: 10% of the purchase price (up to $50,000) as a forgivable loan.

• Home Price Cap: $712,300.

• Eligibility:

  • Current residents of Simcoe County with household income ≤ $121,500.

  • Must be a renter and qualify for a mortgage.

 Dufferin County – Home Ownership Program

• Assistance: Up to 10% of the purchase price (maximum $45,500) as an interest-free loan.

• Home Price Cap: $455,000.

  • Household income ≤ $97,800.

  • Assets ≤ $22,750.

  • Must be a renter in Dufferin County and qualify for a mortgage.
