Chris Stewart

Chris Stewart is a Sr. Mortgage Professional as well as the Compliance Officer for Verico CML Canadian Mortgage Lender Inc., a mortgage brokerage that is part of the Verico National Network. He has been licensed through the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) since 2003 and has over thirty years of dynamic experience within the Retail Lending Industry. He provides extensive knowledge, leadership and passion while working with clients to secure their best available mortgage financing while providing a friendly, educational and efficient environment throughout the process and beyond.

Chris is a member of Mortgage Professionals Canada (MPC) and the Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association (AMBA) that provides continuous industry education to its members along with ensuring its members operate within their ethical Code of Conduct that ensures consumer protection. Chris believes that the more educated he is throughout all facets of the industry, the more information he can provide his clients to ensure they make well informed financial decisions during this critical and exciting time that can encompass various complexities.

Throughout his life, Chris has lived in numerous cities, towns and even hamlets across Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec that developed his enjoyment with meeting new people and working with them to assist in achieving home ownership and enhancing their financial goals.

Outside the mortgage world, Chris is also passionate about his Family and Friends, Football (Soccer) and Formula 1.
